Biography
Eva has a private practice in Switzerland (Luzern & Zürich) since more than 21 years. Specialized in imbalances of the autonomic nervous system, pain, postural disorders, she works with “Somatic Experiencing®”, Rolfing®/Structural Integration, Osteopathy and Craniosacral Therapy. She loves to support people in reconnecting to their wholeness and exploring their potential.
Eva also has an extensive background in meditation (Vipassana) and Yoga (Iyengar).
Originally, she has been trained as a dancer and as a journalist (specialized in dance), continuously delving into the questions of what moves and animates us as human beings.
These profound explorations which are still her passion, led her to trainings in therapies of the “mind-body-continuum”.
In 2001 Eva got certified in Rolfing®/Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado and did her Advanced Training in Vienna and Bologna, Italy in 2018.
She studied “Somatic Experiencing®”, a neurobiological approach to trauma with its founder Dr. Peter Levine and got certified as a “Somatic Experiencing Practitioner” in 2003. Since then she continues to study with Dr. Levine on a regular basis and completed many postgraduate programs e.g. “Developmental Trauma”, “Medical Trauma”, “Healthy Aggression”, “The Eye of the Needle” and many more. She also was an assistant in the training of “Somatic Experiencing®” with Dr. Urs Honauer in Zurich (2017 -2020).
Eva studied Craniosacral Therapy with Franklyn Sills (2006), and in 2011, she got certified as Osteopath at the “Swiss/Canadian College of Osteopathy”.
In 2019 she got the Swiss Federal Diploma as a Complementary Therapist.
Eva loves to hike in the Swiss mountains as well as to enjoy music, dance, art, poetry. She lives with her husband Daniel near the City of Luzern and in their “mountain-hideaway” in the Engadin.
